You are my hope, your promise never fails me and my desire, is to follow you forever. For you are GOOD for you are GOOD, for you are GOOD to me. For you are GOOD, so GOOD for you are GOOD to me. "
I was so inspired by BROOKE MASON's incredible word of healing last night at RADIANT WOMEN . She preached from LUKE 17:11-19 about the 10 Lepers that were healed. Lepers were unclean and were shunned to suburb outside of Jerusalem. As we have learned recently the Samaritan people were already shunned. Jews on the journey to Jerusalem would walk 30 miles out of the way just so that they would not come in contact with them. In the leper colonies the Samaritans were the shunned of the shunned.
"Jesus was still pressing toward Jerusalem, taking a road that went along the border between Samaria (considered undesirable territory) and Galilee. 12 On the outskirts of a border town along this road, He was greeted from a distance by a group of 10 people who were under quarantine because of an ugly and disgusting skin disease known as leprosy."
The lepers cried out to Jesus from a distance..."Jesus, Master, show mercy to us!"
The lepers saw him coming. They saw who he was and they knew he could heal them. They did not wait for him to get close and call out "UNCLEAN" which was the law. They called out "Jesus, Master, show mercy to us!" They saw him and instantly trusted and believed that they would be healed. This is the first variable to healing FAITH.
The next step came quickly OBEDIENCE. What Jesus did next you see a lot in His miracles. He asks the person wanting to be healed to do something. In this case Jesus asks tell the men to "Go now and present yourselves to the priests for inspection of your disease." The men did not question. They did not consider their agendas or what they they thought of Jesus's instruction. They just did it. They began to walk as a group to the priests.
After RADIANT WOMEN last night my friend Melissa Wakefield Hawley saw my FAITH + OBEDIENCE + THANKSGIVING = HEALING that I posted on FB during RADIANT WOMEN .
Thank you for your powerful agreement to my prayer each one of you that have been praying for my provision. She brought it by this morning. So as I learned from BROOKE MASON's message, I PRAISE YOU WITH A LOUD PRAISE LORD and I praise you not not only for the provision and for the complete healing in my foot, but that I get to be with you...PRAISE your name...MY HEALER.

The lepers had faith that Jesus would heal them and they were obedient to his directive. Jesus is so creative, the lepers were healed as they walked to the priest. When they got to the priest they were healed. After the 10 lepers were healed only 1 came back to Jesus to give thanks. Jesus wondered why the other did not come and give thanks The next part of BROOKE MASON's message that I had never heard before is so cool. She said, when we are asking God to heal us or provide something for us, it is more that the healing or the provision, we get to be with the healer. Giving thanks to Jesus for the healing gives us the opportunity to be in His presence, to be with Him.
FAITH + OBEDIENCE = HEALING.

She said, "Did you find a scooter?? If not, I pray one is waiting for you as you exit."
When I got home and checked my vmail someone had responded to the SOS email that Hill Country Bible Church, sent out yesterday to help find me a knee scooter. I just had foot surgery and have been reaching out for almost a week to find a Knee Scooter which would be a tool to help me do what I do while I am completely off my feet for 4 weeks (with 4 boys). When I got home after RADIANT WOMEN Their was a message from a precious woman from Hill Country Bible Church. She said when she saw the post she was EXCITED that she had kept hers and could lend it to someone in need.Thank you for your powerful agreement to my prayer each one of you that have been praying for my provision. She brought it by this morning. So as I learned from BROOKE MASON's message, I PRAISE YOU WITH A LOUD PRAISE LORD and I praise you not not only for the provision and for the complete healing in my foot, but that I get to be with you...PRAISE your name...MY HEALER.
